أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ اْلإِسْلاَمِ وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ اْلإِخْلاَصِ، وَعَلَى دِيْنِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، حَنِيْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ
amsaynaa 'ala fithrotil islaam wa 'alaa kalimatil ikhlaash, wa 'alaa diini nabiyyinaa Muhammadin shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, wa 'alaa millati abiina Ibraahiima haniifam muslimaaw wa maa kaana minal musyrikin
In the evening we are upon the fitrah of Islam, the word of sincerity (the testimony of faith), the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and the religion of our father Abraham, who stood upon the straight path, a Muslim, and was not among the polytheists.
